A brief plug: my employer CSW runs an annual XML Summer School, from
the 22nd to 27th July. It's at Wadham College, has some fun social
events (punting, dinner at Rhodes House, etc.), and also has some
excellent speakers (Mike Kay, Norm Walsh, Dan Connolly, Jeni Tennison,
Bob DuCharme, Eve Maler, etc., and our very own Steve Harris).

The specific thing I'm plugging here is the "Learning Ontology
Management" day. This is a basic introduction to ontologies and OWL,
best practices for using them, and examples of their practical use.
The track is being led by Martin Bryan, Jay Cousins, and Ant Scott.
Please let your colleagues know about it if they're interested in
ontologies, or considering using them. It's £195.

The XML Summer School site is at http://www.xmlsummerschool.com/ and
I'll have some leaflets to hand out next Wednesday, for anyone who's
interested.

Cheers

Inigo
