All
Just a reminder that Oxon SWIG is meeting tonight at 6.30pm (for
6.45pm). The location is the Oxford University Computing Services
building at the corner of Parks Road and Keble Road (OX1 3QD in your
favourite mapping software) - the entrance is on Parks Road. Carparking
is free from 6.30pm on Keble Road (must be approached from Parks Road -
the map is misleading) and Saint Giles.
Speaking tonight are:
* Inigo Surguy on the enigmatically titled: Owl, kittens, and Ann
Widdecombe [http://surguy.net/] (with a title like that it's a good job
we know he is a good speaker!)
* Marta Sabou and Mathieu d'Aquin, of the Open University's Knowledge
Media Institute, on the NeOn project. Lifecycle support for networked
Ontologies for large-scale semantic applications in the distributed
organizations funded by the European Union
[http://www.neon-project.org/]
* Peter Arbuthnott and Katie Portwin on the Quakr project aiming to
build a 3-dimensional world from user contributed photos.

Steve Harris of Oxford University will be on the door of the OUCS
entrance (this is a requirement for out of hours events) and will direct
you to the room we will be using. Hope to see you tonight.
Regards
Eamonn
